Troilus & Cressida

The Canon Shakespeare Company presents Troilus & Cressida by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Alec Henneberger!

This production takes Shakespeare’s classic love story, set against the backdrop of the Trojan War, and brings it back to the oral tradition–just people, telling each other a story. Rooted in the mountains of Appalachia during the interwar period of the 1930s, this retelling reflects on the impacts of war, down to the extremely personal level.
