The History of Empires

An exuberant dance theater work by acclaimed NY theater company Witness Relocation. The History of Empires uses dance, projections, and text to investigate the impact of empire building, pushing us to confront the past and imagine a better future. Performed and co-choreographed by Marcus McGregor, The History of Empires marks McGregor’s return to performance after a 15-year hiatus following a long and distinguished career as a dancer with Dance Theater of Harlem and Feld Ballet.
