A staged reading benefiting PATA’s Valentine Fund, The Trevor Project, New Narrative, NAMI, and Lines for Life, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
The play is about a daughter, Jessie, and her mother, Thelma. It begins with Jessie calmly telling her Mama that by morning she will be dead, as she plans to take her own life that very evening. There will be a talk-back after the show regarding suicide and other issues raised in the play.
